The context

Founded in 1973, Comunian Vini Srl has been a benchmark for lovers of fine wine and Italian gastronomic excellence for over fifty years. Based in Padua, the company stands out for its careful selection of red, white, and sparkling wines sourced from the best Italian and international wineries, with a particular focus on artisanal and niche labels. Alongside its extensive wine offering, the wine shop also features a refined range of spirits, including whisky, grappa, rum, and liqueurs of the highest quality.

In 2024, on the occasion of the opening of its first wine shop in Padua, Comunian Vini chose Newfloor to install the raised flooring in the areas dedicated to sales and tasting.

The project

The project involved the installation of 450 sqm of raised flooring using G30AAK model panels made of low-density calcium sulphate (1100 kg/m³), 30 mm thick, with an aluminum backing and an Alfalux Garda series porcelain stoneware top finish, natural R10 surface, in the Lazise color. The support structure is of the SNFL type, consisting of pedestals bonded to the subfloor and lightweight 18 mm stringers, ensuring maximum stability and safety.

To complete the project, Newfloor also supplied 30 sqm of porcelain stoneware tiles for traditional installation and 30 sqm of FREEFLOOR loose-laid tiles, made with the same material used for the panels, ensuring perfect aesthetic continuity. A terodaem leveling strip with a bituminous base was also applied to enhance both acoustic and thermal insulation.
