The context

HiRef S.p.A. is an Italian company founded in 2001 and based in Tribano, specialized in the development of advanced solutions for air conditioning and cooling of technological infrastructures such as data centers, telecommunications, and industrial environments.

Founded as a start-up in Italy’s “cooling district,” it has grown into a rapidly expanding company, recognized for its innovation, flexibility, and strong focus on research and development. The company designs and manufactures customized, high energy-efficiency systems, with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability and the use of advanced technologies.

Thanks to an integrated approach covering all phases—from design to production and testing—HiRef has established itself as a leading reference point in the HVAC&R sector at an international level.

The project

The Newfloor project involved the installation of approximately 1,400 sqm of raised flooring using G30AAK panels made of calcium sulfate, 30 mm thick with a density of 1,100 kg/m³, featuring an aluminum backing and a top finish in Alfalux Garda series porcelain stoneware, R10 finish, Bardolino color. The panels, sized 596×596 mm, are equipped with perimeter edging.

The support structure adopted is the self-centering S-Lock System HN 157, designed to ensure high stability, installation precision, and long-term safety.

To complete the supply, the following were also installed:

FFK20 panels, FREEFLOOR loose-lay tiles made of Alfalux Garda series porcelain stoneware, R10 finish, Bardolino color, with perimeter edging and dimensions of 596×596 mm;
porcelain stoneware tiles in various sizes for traditional installation, made with the same material to ensure aesthetic continuity across surfaces.
