The context

Unifarco has recently completed its new headquarters, a true architectural masterpiece designed with the primary goal of embracing environmental sustainability and reducing energy consumption.

Founded and managed by pharmacists, the company is renowned for the production of high-quality cosmetics, nutraceuticals, and dermatological products. Today, Unifarco operates not only in Italy but also in Germany, Spain, France, Austria, and Switzerland.

Located in the picturesque province of Belluno, the new Unifarco headquarters stands out for its impressive architecture, which not only meets rigorous environmental standards but also actively contributes to the protection of the local ecosystem. A tangible example of this commitment is the building’s exterior cladding, made from trees that fell during the devastating Storm Vaia in 2018, demonstrating the company’s dedication to environmental preservation and the responsible reuse of natural resources.

The project

Unifarco’s commitment to sustainability goes even further. Through its collaboration with Newfloor, more than 1,000 square metres of raised access flooring were installed using G30AAK panels, featuring a 30 mm calcium sulphate core, 600 × 600 mm dimensions, a density of 1,100 kg/m³, an aluminium foil backing, and a Marazzi Block Grey porcelain stoneware finish. This design solution not only enhances the building’s aesthetic appeal but also helps create a comfortable, functional, and sustainable working environment.

To ensure maximum floor stability, the project incorporates the S-lock System structure, further demonstrating the attention to detail and commitment to quality and long-term durability. The system consists of steel pedestals bonded directly to the subfloor and equipped with self-centring head gaskets, allowing the panels to be positioned accurately while maintaining joint alignment over time.

With this state-of-the-art headquarters, Unifarco reinforces its position as an industry leader, distinguished not only by the quality of its products but also by its responsible, forward-looking approach to innovation and sustainability.
